Sabotaged

This is an ode to the land of rising sun Japan who are presently going through an extremely tough phase. The country once sabotaged by Atomic Bombings rose to power once again in a very short span of time by sheer determination, passion and optimism of people. I cant help but admire the courage the Japanese have shown during testing times and how they manage to bounce back as the one of the most powerful and scientifically developed country in the world. I truly wish Japanese get enough strength to overcome this disastrous obstacle and find a life they lost to the turbulent tides. Wishing Japan a very speedy recovery...

As she embraced the infinite skies

Her gallant rays scattered through the silver clouds

Redeeming souls with blissful warmth

Aura of harmony enticed the gleeful crowd.

The massive tides stormed the tranquil streets

As nature's fury knew no bounds

Lucifer roared, laughed and ruled

As he etched timeless cracks on the ground

Teacups trembled and glasses shattered

Horrified, she held on to her babies naive

A tinge of agony gripped her frozen veins

As she watched them embrace a watery grave.

She bowed her head down in prayer

As demons roared in laughter shrill

Helpless screams filled the air as mayhem spread

The land of rising sun stood still.

Innocent victims fought in vain

Against nature's ruthless blunder

Anguish spread, civilians fled

Lost in strife of earthly plunder.

Memories last, leaving wounds that time cant heal

As a paradise, into vacuum, sublimes

Survivors battle to rise from ashes of a dreadful past

Leaving traumatic footprints on sands of time.
